How to make possum blaze

Possums forage using their sight and sense of smell. Blaze is a lure that is bright and smelly to encourage them towards your trap.

Flour is used as a visual attractant, icing sugar helps the mixture stick to the tree, and spice powder lures them in.

Ingredients

4 cups white flour

1 cup icing sugar

2 - 3 tsp cinnamon or mild curry powder

Instructions

Mix together in an old plastic bottle.

Sprinkle under your trap and on the ground nearby. You can take a handful of the powder and rub it along the trunk right below you trap.

If you want to make less blaze, try using 4 parts flour to 1 part icing sugar.
